Vinted Members Express Anger Over Sizing Modifications
Shoppers are voicing their frustration after an update resulted in products showing incorrect sizing.
The second-hand shopping app has updated its sizing categories for women's and children's garments failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Countless users and merchants are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present an altered size classification compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the revised method more closely matches similar services.
They have suggested members to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, resulting in member annoyance.
Size Classification Modifications
Previously, the sizes had both numerical and alphabetical indicators, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter and a range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
User Stories
Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she explained.
Manual Updates
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she explained.
Marketplace Information
The app has more than 100 million shoppers, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification within the service has received backlash: previously, the platform withdrew an update regarding delivery choices due to shopper criticism.
